This article highlights changes in ConnectSense 6.2, an update to the ConnectSense app for both iOS and Android.

Schedules

We've updated the Schedules screen and simplified the process of creating and changing schedules. This includes giving Rebooters their own schedule screen that's not mixed with other outlet devices.

If you have Rebooters, now when you add a schedule on the Schedules screen, you're prompted to select between creating a Rebooter schedule or a schedule for other devices. If the Rebooter schedule option is disabled, then you've already scheduled all your Rebooter devices and cannot add another schedule. Instead, select the Rebooter schedule you want to change.

New Add Schedule menu shown on iOS

The screens to add and update Rebooter schedules now list only the Rebooter devices on your account. Set the days and the time to reboot and select which device you want to schedule. Older, existing Rebooter schedules may include multiple Rebooters in the same schedule. Updating an old schedule that includes multiple Rebooters will update the schedule for each of them. You can optionally separate the schedules by removing one or more of the other Rebooters from the schedule. Going forward, each Rebooter will have its own, single schedule.

Add Schedule screen shown on iOS

The screens to add and update other outlet schedules have also been updated to exclude any Rebooters on your account. Multiple devices are now easier to find, grouped by room and home.

Fixes

Release 6.2 also includes some fixes:

  • Corrected a problem where you could create more than one schedule for an Internet Rebooter; Since Rebooters each have just one schedule, the Rebooter schedules were not behaving consistently
  • Corrected a problem where the Reboot History for the Internet Rebooter wasn't showing recent events
