How to factory reset the Smart Outlet² to its default settings

Having trouble adding your ConnectSense Smart Outlet²? Resetting the unit to its factory settings often remedies any initial connection issues you might experience.

  1. Hold down both buttons on the side of the unit for approximately 10 seconds.

  2. After 10 seconds, you should see both outlet LEDs on the front of the unit start to blink red.

  3. Release both buttons.
  4. The light green LED in the top-left corner of the Smart Outlet² will start blinking steadily, indicating that it is ready to add to HomeKit or to the ConnectSense app.
