- Your EZ Lamp Controller plugged into a power outlet
- A smartphone with the ConnectSense app installed
- Access to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and password
đ Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Plug In the Device
Plug the EZ Lamp Controller into a wall outlet. Wait a few seconds for it to power up.
2. Reset and Enter Pairing Mode
- Press and hold the button on the outlet, and watch for the blue LED light to turn on.
- Once the blue light starts blinking, release the button immediately.
- After a short pause, the light should continue blinking, which means itâs ready to pair.
Note: It doesnât matter if the light was ON or OFF when you started. Just press and hold until you see it blinking.
3. Open the ConnectSense App
Launch the app on your phone. Make sure:
- Your phone is connected to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
- You are logged into your ConnectSense account
4. Add the Device
- Tap âAdd Deviceâ or the â+â icon at the top right.
- Select EZ Lamp Controller from the device list.
- Tap Next when the blinking light reminder appears.
- Grant camera and Bluetooth permissions if prompted.
- Scan the QR code from the product box or the side of the outlet.
5. Connect to Wi-Fi
â ď¸ IMPORTANT: Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and enter your Wi-Fi password
- You will see a pop-up asking to connect to a temporary Wi-Fi network from the outlet. Tap Allow.
- Select your homeâs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and enter your password.
- Double-check that the password is correct and wait for a âSuccessâ message.
- If you briefly see an error, thatâs normal â the device may still be initializing.
6. Final Steps
- Close the app completely.
- Wait about 30 seconds.
- Reopen the ConnectSense app â your device should now show as online.

- The EZ Lamp Controller is compatible only with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
- QR code not scanning? Make sure the area is well-lit and the code is not scratched or damaged.
